Barker's Marque Wines  Barkers Marque Wines is a family business with one foot in New Zealand and one in the USA.  Ed works with Grange Wine out of Marblehead, Massachusetts and Simon makes wine and lives on the family vineyard in Marlborough which he manages. Barker's Marque grows grapes and makes Sauvignon Blancs that represent the best of Marlborough - Wines that add Texture, Balance and Subtlety to the Intensity of the world famous Marlborough “Savvies”.  As this category continues to grow in the US market, we are working to overcome the challenges typically faced by niche suppliers. Price pressure. Powerful corporate brands are squeezing out the little guy. Yet we know that there is a strong market for niche suppliers at the right price.  We tackle prices by working directly winery to importer.  So our costs are low. And we grow distributor sales volumes by selling more than one wine. Lack of local representation.  Ed Barker lives and works here in the USA. He is focused on his US customers.
