	3 Brooms is the culmination of years of Barker family tradition. From 1888 Grandfather Charles' horse-drawn tea cart served first tea, then beer, to racegoers at Epsom Downs in England. The 3 brooms (or besoms) were first lashed to the front of a tented pub in 1918 and became a landmark for 30 years.  Our tradition is kept alive in wine in New Zealand and Boston.
